AWEG
AWEG (Arusha Women Entrepreneurs Group) collects groundnut (raw material) from about 100 small holders’ farmers from in one regions; process into high quality hygienic peanut butter product and sale in Arusha city Babati, Dar –es- Salaam.
The project is focus in income generation so to improve marginalized groups especial women.
Peanut butter project
Through the funding from Firelight Foundation, Church of God, Arusha formed a unit namely Arusha Women Entrepreneurs’ Group.
Main activities of AWEG is processing organic peanut butter, deliver and offer peanut butter, offer, technology transfer to other entrepreneur and other SME.
